I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland where I have spent most of my life. I attended high school at The Edinburgh Academy, college at Edinburgh's Telford College and studied for my masters at the University of Edinburgh. Sandwiched between my time in my Edinburgh was 3 years in Glasgow at the University of Strathclyde (1st, 2nd and 4th Year) and 1 year in Southern California at California State Polytechnic University Pomona (3rd Year).

Since graduating with a Masters Degree in Design and Digital Media from the University of Edinburgh, I have been fortunate to work in a number of roles that have allowed me to express my design instincts. I gained valuable design for print experience at Almond Publishing where I helped produce 4 magazines by creating adverts and designing page layouts, and then while working in a retail position at Advanced MP3 Players I got the chance to design their Point of Sale. Most recently I was working at a Printing.Com franchise selling and designing their wide range of products. Throughout this period I have also worked as freelance designer on a number of projects that has further allowed my to express my love for design.

Having had a wonderful experience traveling to California during my time at university, I decided that I would like to return to North America for an extended period of time. In June 2010 I arrived in Vancouver on a visa from BUNAC, where I would stay for 4 months. Having toured much of Vancouver and the surrounding areas including Victoria and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, I traveled to the U.S. to briefly visit Seattle before visiting friends in San Diego, Los Angeles and Pomona. After this I started my trip back east by heading to New York and Toronto before eventually returning to the UK in late November 2010.

In the summer of 2011 I started my own company, Orange Halo. Orange Halo was established as a creative design company blessed with a range of skills covering everything from illustration, digital design and web design to graphic design, print design and brand identity.

Design has always been a large part of my educational, personal and professional life, outside of this I have a love for many sports including football, rugby, american football, ice hockey and formula 1. I enjoy a wide range of music, going to gigs and watching movies. I also love Adidas Superstar trainers and New Era caps.
